o.k.
fair enough they do not have the same freedom to go from door to door in muslim lands , and of course their are so few of them their to make any impact with their incidental witnessing .. however with modern day technology ,the internet , blogs ,tweets ,social media , etc, etc.
they could saturate /flood these countrys with their brand of " truth" if they were serious about it .. the fact that they dont, : means they are not serious about spreading the good news of the kingdom in all the earth , making jehovahs name known in all the earth , or witnessing to everybody on earth so they can have opportunity to gain salvation .. or are they afraid of what the muslims will do to them in retalliation .. smiddy.
1. Because they are in bed with them in Europe
2. They are scared of them big time.

i rarely watch fox news.
but i do read the drudge report every day.
on drudge, there are tons of newspaper links which i typically read from..
Nothing.
I generally am ignorant of world events until i read of it here or someone tells me. We dont have TV and i use no internet news service ans a homepage, i dont listen to the radio, nor buy newspapers, so...
I am usually a week behind the times...

my wife passed away 2 years ago we had been married over 30 years, i have since remarried and my new wife is younger than 3 of my children from my first marriage.
i just wondering if there are any more like me out there.
i stay in excellent shape for my age, work out almost daily eat good and have absolutely no medical problems or at least none i can do anything about, bad knees, but my vitals are excellent, and i am known as the teenage because of them when i have my yearly medical checkup.. so was wondering if there are others out there like me, and what some may think about it, just for the record i am extremely happy once again, and we have a 18 month boy who delights me, have a whole new outlook on fatherhood and child raising.
One day i will be old(er) and she may have to wipe my arse, maybe she will get ill and it will be the other way, who knows. It simply does not matter.
When she sees women her age enjoying freedom, it just might matter. My dad's wife resented the hell out of his helplessness. We all wonder if she was really "outside on the patio" when he died in the recliner. It's possible that she was standing right there with him and watched him take his last breaths and did nothing to help him. She was afraid his broken hip injuries were going to eat up all of their money
Sorry, Flying high, but no.
My wife is now 33 and I am 50, and far from seeing other women enjoying 'freedom' she sees them getting bogged down and drained by raising babies. She feels absolutly free, free to not only be the person she really is, because i place no bounds on her, but free to spend all day everyday pursuing her goals in art and music etc.
And so what if i get sick and old? what the hell does AGE have to do with that? What about equal age couples where at the point they should be taking it easy, one gets a serious illness and wastes away, draining the life out of their 50 year old wife? Sucking up the finances when ill?
And what if when i retire at 65 she develops breast cancer at 48? What then flying high? Then my retirement may well be spent looking after her till she meets an early grave and leaves me alone and broke?
What has age got to do with that?
It can happen to anybody, anytime, and equal age couples do NOT have the monopoly on health nor happiness.
Sometimes the most compatable person you may ever meet just happens to be of a different generation, and I for one, was certainly not going to walk away from that because of a silly notion of ageism.

Speaking only for myself here...
After my divorce i vowed NEVER to marry again, let alone live with another woman. After dating (some for longer than others) women older than myself, younger than myself and the same age, one thing i did know was that i was never going to be daddy to someone elses children. I simply couldnt and wouldnt face raising someone elses children when i was not able to help raise my own.
So that left the dating pool a lot emptier in my mid forties.
But, as you know, i remarried indeed. To a woman who was not even born until after i had left home. Sometimes thats a good laughing point i might add. She was 27 and I was 44 when we hooked up, but I had known her (but not interested in her at all) from when she was 24. I was not looking for a 'daughter' nor she a 'daddy'. She just wanted someone to love her for who she was and I just wanted the same. We were both sick of being judged by people as broken and damged goods.
There is no 'power' over her. She was a women not a girl, and had been through her own shit enough to not take any from me! She completes me. If I lost her there would not be another. The only ones who's opinion would have mattered was her family, who, didnt raise so much as an eyebrow.
We are both aware and have always been so, of the 'age gap' but their is no generation gap in play. We simply are who we are, we enjoy each others differences. I bring to relationship more life experience in some things and she life experiances that i never had, I have helped her learn to be more self discaplined and money savvy, she has taught me to be more patient and openminded. I think sometimes i have learned far more from her than she from me...
We do not and will never have children together. That was the deal on the first day we hooked up, it was not negotiable and it was her choice to stay. She does not regret that. her life is full and happy, she enjoys being 'step mother' to two teenagers who likewise adore her. She has nephews and neices... her interests and passions are in art and music, not babies.
One day i will be old(er) and she may have to wipe my arse, maybe she will get ill and it will be the other way, who knows. It simply does not matter. There is no guarentee that two people of the same age will live long and happy and die at 99 one month between each other just because of some age unity.
I might live to 100 and she to 83.
The only people who think it 'sick' or 'not right' are those who obviously are not in that situation. Sometimes we fall in love with who we fall in love with.
So, if it works for you it works and who the hell is anyone else to place judgement on that?

what is your take on the latest from adobe and their lease only option for future versions of their software?
pay the monthly fee or lose the use of the program..
Its all about the money
If there was not more money to be made in 'leasing' software they wouldnt do it.
As far as i am concerned they are just looking for new ways to rip us all off more.

i got to thinking today & you know what i think the single biggest issue effecting apostates are.
its they cannot unite and this is what gives the watchtower the upper hand.
what needs to happen (and quite honestly i don't think it will)they all have to come under one common body.
No Joe.
Did you miss what happened when some (since left) members here decided to do just what you speak off?
Trainwreck...

is this just a lot of talk?
I would say most governments are bankrupt already, trading while insolvent, borrowing more than they can can repay. One day the creditors will come calling... I read an interesting report the other day, that outlined that most if not all civilizations have a life span of 250 years on average It is niave to think that our current crop of 'civilization' should last longer than any other. Sooner or later we will be taken over by another, wiped out or assimilated... By whom? Thats a matter for much conjecture i guess! Oz
